Construction Project Manager

Description
The Construction Project Manager will manage CNG construction projects. Although this position will be required to oversee multiple project superintendents and field workers, the primary responsibility will be to the bottom-line of the projects as well as assuring safety, schedule and
quality. The Construction Project Manager’s job is to assist in planning the schedule and coordinate all phases of projects, including job cost accounting and billing procedures, liaison with the owner, architects, subcontractors and suppliers. This position is a full-time position with unlimited growth potential. 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Manage, control, monitor and close construction bids and projects.


Plan and monitor construction lifecycle from initiation to completion.


Develop and adhere to budget, timeline, and quality control plan.


Use software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.


Find and manage workforce and subcontractor(s).


Manage equipment and materials.


Ensure that all local, state, and national building codes and regulations and safety precautions are followed.


Collaborate and build relationships with internal team, architects, engineers, electricians, other specialists, and clients.


Communicate with clients and internal team and deliver project progress reports.


Requirements

At least 2 years background in construction administration and project management experience.


The ability to read blueprints, site evaluation and assessments, municipal planning and development processes and entitlement and/or building permits also desired.


Ability to manage contractors and subcontractors to ensure work functions are carried out in accordance with subcontracts.


Familiar with project management and scheduling software. 


Experience with Compressed Natural Gas compressors, and fueling systems a plus.


Ability to travel to various station sites to develop site assessments, supervise critical construction activities, and commission and closeout projects, with up to 50% travel on a monthly-basis.


Ability to work independently and remotely.
